This hardens my suspicion that Mr. Hagen does not believe in anthropogenic global warming.

Warming/ Colder phases last about 30-40 years but man isn’t helping…..or doing anything, for that matter, to curb the problems….methinks.

If climate change was a REAL threat China wouldn’t be allowed to continue opening more coal-fired generating plants (they have more than 1000 new ones planned, on top of the hundreds they’ve opened in recent years). So, NO, cc isn’t a threat.

Funny thing, we should be heading into another glacial period, it should be getting colder, not warmer. But even so, aside from various catastrophes, (ie; big rocks from space), we are warming faster than we ever have before. It isn’t the warming so much, although that causes problems such as making parts of the inhabited Earth uninhabitable, it is warming so fast that species do not have time to adapt.

Slight variations in the Earth’s tilt axis occur routinely over millennia but have devastating effects on climate. The human race has accelerated the rate of warming in this cycle but the overall effect may … or may not… be exaggerated.

Even the sheep have come to understand that anthropegenic warming is a farce.

Except that the planet’s natural cycle’s were starting into a cooling trend that would normally last another twelve thousand years or so, but the influence of the Industrial Revolution has things warming up instead.

And what by no means should need to be said at this point, global average temperatures really don’t care that things might temporarily be colder than normal in some spots. Do a little research on the jet stream and the polar vortex and you might learn why warmer average temperatures are responsible for the more severe cold blasts we’ve been getting. A warmer climate means more energy in the system, and that means more hot extremes as well as more cold extremes.
