    With only 32 digits of π (3.14159265358979323846264338327950), and a really good measurement of the diameter of the Milky Way galaxy, you could wrap a rope around the galaxy’s circumference that’s accurate to one atom in length. Assuming it’s a perfect circle, which will take another couple of millennia to prove.

    If you round pi to 4 decimal places, from 3.14159 to 3.1416, then you realize that today, 3/14/16, is rounded pi day, which makes sense as pi is usually rounded.
