Ogres are like lasagna, or neopolitan ice cream. They have layers.

Definitely a strange movie. Watched it all the way through. A couple of good one-liners worth knowing, including “Vote For Pedro.”

I’ve seen it several times and love it. “Just follow your heart, Pedro. That’s what I do”.

Absolutely LOVE this movie — How much you want to bet Uncle Rico could throw a football over those mountains?

It’s a true “art” movie – all the stuff represented there is exactly what happened to us in high school, minus the profanity – keeping it clean was one of the guiding principles of the show. If it seems naive, it’s because we WERE naive, but thought and acted as if we weren’t.

Try spotting something in the movie that looks familiar to you. “Gimme some tots,” “Got about three feet of air there, Pedro,” The girl who sells door to door and then bails when her script gets too much for her. All those kinds of things happened to us.

Didn’t Uncle Rico finally get the girl??

And if you watch all the way through the credits there’s an important extra scene most people never see.

It’s a FILM. It’s not a MOVIE. That’s why whether you liked it or not, you will remember it long after you can’t recall ‘Age of Ultron’.

For all of you lower-right coasters…Pedro says, “Stop in and see me at ‘South of the Border’!”

I found it moderately pleasant, tho only fitfully funny. I give it credit for distinction. But nobody involved could sustain their momentum.
