Give your old dad a break Wilberforce. He works hard but still makes it to your school’s programs supporting you and community efforts. Many parents don’t give a hoot. You’ll understand in the by and by when you’ve got a family of your own. And Ms. Gladys could have elbowed Mr. Brutus to wake up the “sleeping giant”

He was in charge of the sound effects!

At least he has the good grace to be embarrassed.

It’s not his fault, they don’t let you bring a CPAP machine into the auditorium with you.

School concert and Brutus falls asleep. I wonder if that means he’ll have to go to the Principal’s Office?

Too bad Grandma wasn’t there. Gargoyle would have elbowed him hard enough to break his ribs.

This is why my wife doesn’t take me to such events.

He needs to get a battery powered CPAP machine. :)

Brutus, it’s not couth to fall asleep and snore during your son’s concert!

It didn’t help that Brutus snored loudly just as they started playing “Windy”…

He did keep the rest of the audience awake.

Something like that happened to me again yesterday. I go to a movie I’m thinking I’ll enjoy. Without realizing it I nod off and my wife has to keep waking me since my snoring is disturbing others. So sorry my bad

Very bad form indeed. However, the wife should have given Brutus a gentle nudge to wake him up. She’s partly to blame. No joy in Mudville tonight, the entire family struck out…..

And Gladys, why didn’t YOU jab him in the ribs to wake him up? Too busy with your phone?

Veeblefester won’t let Brutus nap at the office anymore, so he gotta make it up some where…

This was how I got through my sister’s Ballet School annual dance recital. A 3 hour snooze-a-palooza. Being youthful and sitting upright, I slept both soundly and quietly.

He was just singing along, in his Brutus sort of way.

must’ve been very exciting if he slept through the concert. :}
