After you eat…..you take a shower.
And your mouth too.
And another thing, young man, you need to start using your spoon and fork instead of your fingers.
There’s nothing better then eating like our ancestors did … in the 15th century!!!
Wilberforce, Your hands may be dirtier after you eat but your food will be germ free.
The knife and fork and your teeth should be dirtier, but that’s beside the point.
That is one of those rules that are good for kids, but don’t seem to carry over into adulthood. I have to admit I will usually wash my hands before eating under two conditions, 1, if my hands are obviously dirty, maybe if I was working on the car or something, and 2, if I was eating a sandwich, pizza or chicken wings; something I would have to hold in order to eat it. Otherwise I go by the maxim, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
How’s that happen? Do they eat sloppy joes every night? Tacos? Even so, they have a hand cleaning machine. I think they have the “Kewpie” model.
i’ve seen lots of guys who think along the lines of wilburforce. the one who came out of the loo stall with his little son and went directly back to the buffet at big boy with nary a glance at soap or water is the one who convinced me to never, ever eat at a restaurant with a salad bar again…
Hey, I don’t make my bed …
Wash my hands? What? Am I an employee of this so called restaurant?
There is good dirt and bad dirt.. some is fingerlicking good and some.. well, let’s say not. Kind of depends where those fingers have been since the last time you washed them.
The kid is about to go to his room without supper.
You are right. So now wash them before and after dinner……
Now argue with logic.
I don’t like restaurants that allow pets. People petting dogs and cats and kissing the critters all up and eating at same time. Filthy animals – humans being.
A sloppy eater with a sloppy answer!
I fear for young Wilberforce’s future wellbeing, it appears he’s been swimming in a very shallow gene pool.
So if his hands are dirty he does not have to eat his brocoli.
