I once worked for a company that said we were all gonna get a “Christmas Bonus” one year. Oh we got one,it was one of those chocolate oranges. Just one of my drilling rig/heavy equipment/etc. hydraulic hose orders I built and packed made the company around $30,000.00 and we all got a chocolate orange ?!?!?! What a deal,it made the whole year of busting our butts worth it. I mean,Really? Oh Well,Karma caught up with the Owner,the Labor Board charged him with non-payment of overtime and weekend salaries the next year and He had to pay all his employees the back pay. There is some justice in this world.
