For those interested, new Popeye strips are still running on Sundays on Comics Kingdom. (As well as Sagendorf reruns the rest of the week, and the REAL Popeye in Thimble Theatre reruns also Monday – Saturday.) The Sunday ones may as well be written and drawn by computer, they are so sadly lacking in humor or originality. But they keep the trademark going as they prepare for the CGI Popeye movie they’re working on.
