Ted Rall for March 30, 2012
Transcript:
In an America with two parties: The KKK and the Nazis. (Man: You have to vote! The Nazis'll make things even worse!) (Woman: No. The Klanocrats take us liberals for granted. Both parties are evil. I refuse to support either one.) (Man: There's a big difference! The KKK hasn't killed nearly as many people as the Naziublicans. Also, the klan is slightly less evil on gays and abortion rights.) (Woman: Let them be slightly less evil without my support.) (Man: The imperial wizard promises a liberal second term.) (Woman: Local Klavern here I come!)

Yes, let’s abandon the Democrats because they’re not socialists. After all, a few more rightwing Justices and we won’t have to worry about abortion, healthcare or gay rights anyway.

Hey, Ted! The only party that act like Nazis, were the Nazis. As despicable as the Republican Party leadership has become, they still haven’t called for extermination of “inferior races.” There’s a massive difference between a party that includes bigots and a party calling for the “final solution.” You, sir, are part of the problem, not the solution.

Pretty funny. Way off base, but hey, it’s political humor.

we need a viable third or fourth party Ted isn’t too far from the truth here.

The most acidly on-point cartoon I have seen yet. Once again, Ted nails it.

Too many politicians, not enough sacks, cinder blocks, and lakes with any water left.

Okay, Rall is being a little harsh in comparing the Democratic Party to the Klan. And Democrats are far too wimpy to make good Klansmen. It would be fairer and more accurate to compare the Democrats to the Vichy French. As Jim Hightower responds when asked about the need for a third party in the United States, “Hell, I wished we had a second party!”

This is stated in an overbearing way, but it’s indisputable. The tiny difference in evil between the actions of top officeholders from the two major parties makes it pretty offensive for partisans of the supposedly-less-evil party to admonish those of us who refuse to barter principles to “suck it up.” It is morally wrong to vote for democrats, and makes you complicit in Mr. Obama’s war crimes and his sickening crimes against humanity.

@TJDestry — Actually, what he’s saying is, “let’s abandon the democrats because they are republicans.” Nobody cares that they’re not “liberal enough.” If a person (very rightly) despises republicans, then he might as well despise democrats with equal fervor for the same reasons.
