When Harry met Nancy Harry: Finally-we've got the Republicans where we want them! Nancy: We can't end the war without a 2/3 veto-proof majority. Harry: And the Republicans can't vote with us without looking like idiots. Nancy: So no one calls us on voting for the war in the first place! Harry: Look at us: We're all reasonable! We're so willing to compromise! Nancy: Thank God people are too dumb to know the truth! Harry: We could stop the war tomorrow- by cutting off the funding! Nancy: Republicans look tough. We "oppose" an unpopular war. Everybody wins! Harry: Everyone who counts. Anyway.
