All across America, people are asking themselves: how should w spend our budget surplus? (Man: Maybe we should save up for the next recession.) A tax cut, perhaps? Why not a new stadium? How about some new highways, subways or airports? We could expand medicare or child care! Let's pick up some cool new bombers! (Man: This economy can't last forever... let's take it easy on spending.) So much extra money, so little time- let's blow the dough while we can! (Woman: This makes me a little nervous) All across America, people are asking themselves: why are we so incredibly stupid? (Man 1: Poor math skills.) (Woman: It's our culture) (Man: It seemed smart at the time.)
