When we had out pet pigeon, Foo Foo, we also had a ginger swirl cat named Old Yeller Tom. He didn’t seem at all interested in doing any harm to Foo Foo. Foo Foo did not live inside the house, but if we were coming in or out the front door, Foo Foo would land on somebody’s head and hitch a ride into the house for a few bites of bread, then we’d set her back outside. On more than one occasion, Foo Foo would fly alongside the school bus, landing on the bus’s roof during stops. Once I got safely to school, Foo Foo would fly back home.
