Ah, there she is! My, that’s a quiet hut. Like many things about Grandma Yaga, that’s a bit . . . disturbing.
That is one whopper of a drumstick!
That poor fox will be having nightmares featuring every bird they ever caught.
Poor Pepper. I wonder if she’s considering renegotiating her contract right about now.
Didn’t they teach you anything in school? You have to knock on Izbusha’s knee and tell it to stop turning and to squat down if you want to enter.
Olwen: “I would have called ahead, but you know, roaming charges…”
Love the heart over Olwen!
In Slavic bedtime stories, Baba Yaga is a witch who lives in a house that stands on chicken legs.
Methinks she is above you!
It’s a mobile home!
The takes in the last panel are priceless.
Look up, Salem. She’s driving the old Cluckabago.
Oh… I was just perusing our cast of characters and Clover is missing from them! Or am I missing something somewhere?
Granmda and I have shared reactions to chicken houses. pure delight
Ok, this is a bit late (would have been better a few days ago when Salem presented Clover with her new outfit), but thanks to Nicki’s ZoMcYo’s post about the cast of characters I just discoveref (or rather rediscoverd) this on the old Swan Eaters website: http://www.swaneaters.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Hawkers-Family-Portrait1.jpg
So I’d responded to Nicki’s ZoMcYo’s post linking to the old site since it has the mini bios for Clover and Ebenezer which aren’t included with the cast of characters here on GoComics. And for S&Gs I decided to look through the family pictures. That pic instantly reminded me of the dress Salem just recently gave Clover. Looks like Hester stole it for the family photo.
ok…who’s humming Mussorgsky? (besides me :) )
