Actually it should be 100. 0 X 2^0 = 0, 0 X 2^1 = 0, 1 * 2^2 = 4.
Wasn’t the bet about arithmetic — not necessarily correct arithmetic. If I add two numbers and get the wrong sum, does it mean it wasn’t doing arithmetic? Or does it indicate that I’m quibbling?
Shouldn’t the horse have said, “Why would a horse use base-22?”
