@MaxLooking at yesterday’s cartoon post and the subsequent comments from our readers, I couldn’t help but notice that there was virtually no empathy or sympathy for the kid who vaulted himself into space with such dire consequences. Our readers, by the very nature of their comments, found the content of this cartoon humorous and even seemed to take delight in the demise of the youngster. Is this what we have all become? People who are quick with a wisecrack, a smirk and a wink at the misfortunes of others? Are we so uncaring that this type of gratuitous cartoon content garners the laughter of others at the plight of their fellow human beings? Are we all so callous? So shallow?
@TameI sure hope so, because we’ve got a whole lot more of this type of stuff coming and hopefully we can score a payoff.
A payoff! Alright! Hey, maybe the cartoon would make a good bumper sticker, eh?

Looks like his sphinxter is working just fine. Those are quite the poolyhedrons.
Does the answer to the riddle lay within the depths of that litter box?
I see its the clumping kind
so THAT’s why pyramids are tapered at the end
@Brian PonshockOh snap- you’re saying that the pyramids are in one big litter box? I better go wash my tennis shoes…
Peu! That just sphinx.
If that’s how pyramids are made, then I wonder who or what made those Mayan Temples.
This sh—t ain’t funny. Its hilarious!
And I always thought the pyramids were made of stone!
Bad! Bad Anubis! Don’t eat that!
Sphinx turds are worse than hypotenuse turds.
Thank you and thank you again, LT. You have stated the case perfectly. Nice of you to stop by and comment.
You just can’t get enough of this type of humor on the major networks, N-G. Have a good weekend.
I’m very disappointed that no one was maimed, killed and/or launched into space today in your strip, Max. Oh well, there’s always Monday.
That must of hurt.
Yikes. This made me rethink my trip to see the pyramids… THANKS A LOT MAX!
I’m so kidding!
Ha! “Desert muffins.” Haven’t heard that one before, SF. Thanks for the comment.
