Climate scientists are getting tired of repeating a message that was clear decades ago.

Indeed, if you want a terrifying little timeline, you should look at a recent XKCD: Munroe points out that in November 1982, Exxon predicted that global temperatures would get +1° C above the existing norms within 40 years due to fossil fuel use, which would indicate massive impacts on the environment generally.

Exxon’s reaction to this internal report, by the way, was to suppress the findings and fund climate denial, which was stunningly successful.

We are in the 39th year since that report, and we are +0.94° C…

So let me reiterate: EXXON knew what was happening 40 years ago, and there are still people denying it now, after four decades more research? Sorry, no. There is only one side of this debate: the right side.

Let me just bury my head a little deeper. It’s getting a little loud even down here.

It’s not yet loud enough for the GQP to hear.

In one form or another leftists have been playing this worn-out tune since the 19th century. The planet is still here, we’re still alive, and life is better than ever for people.

When there is money to be made trying to reduce greenhouse gases, maybe then action.

A good metric for the level of ruling-class concern about the destruction of Earth’s homeostasis is the label used.

It began as “global warming” and is now “climate change”. Neither term indicates any concern or even awareness of how utterly destructive their choices are.

Nine storeys down from the top of a ten storey building, and everything still feels fine….

I read the other day that China is happily building a bunch of coal fired power plants which when completed will put them ahead of us as polluters.

There’s a bottom line to this: Population control.
