Let me help you out. Shot for failing to obey lawful orders and making motions and actions that appeared to be legitimately threatening to police.
That describes the vast majority of cases in which police shoot a suspect. Black, white, young, old, male or female. Yes, there are a handful of cases where the action was simply not justified, but they are few and far between.
A large majority of the nationally publicized cases have turned out to be JUSTIFIED by ANY reasonable standard.
Let me help a bit more. Waiting until AFTER the perp has taken a shot at a cop is NOT a reasonable standard.
