Part of the problem with the idiot public is actually “celebrity status”, that makes the weakest in mind, because of “social media” think that ANYONE in the public eye, singer, comedian, actor, or politician must allow every second of their lives to be exposed or public knowledge, while the same public says “stay out of MY life!”
That only Democrats seem “politically exposed” in today’s media, which of course is soooooooo “left wing”, right, is also the fact of the day.
