…and not only that, they’ve got people who misuse campaign funds, hire undocumented workers, make backroom deals to keep third party candidates out of races, and the head of a company that was fined $1.7 Billion for Medicare Fraud.

( Just to let you know the Repubs haven’t completely broken with the past. )

the funt forget to mention the guy who routinely sends racist and porn (including bestiality) e-mails to his friends, and when asked about it, said “hey, I was in the construction business.”

BCS - I don’t know that one. Who are you referencing? I understand that the last reference is a man involved in historical re-enactments, much like we have with Civil War re-enactments. Men dress in uniforms of opposing sides and act out historical events. There are even mid-evil historical re-enactments that are huge vacation sites. Is this a bad thing? History is real, even the ugly bits. Is Johnny Depp really a pirate who should thus be hung?

^^ I wrote about Paladino, candidate for NY Gov is the sender of the very racist e-mails, and the porno e-mails (including a video of a horse and a woman). He sent them to list of friends, complete with his idea of cute comments and when they came to light, that was his excuse, he used to work in construction. You can find them online. Some web site posted them, complete with the e-mail details. They’re very sick e-mails. Paladino may be the “family values homophobes with mistresses” because that’s also true.

funt also left out Angle, the candidate that proclaimed that Dearborne, Michigan and a non-existent town in Texas practice Sharia law.

How short Dem’s memories are, and what double standards….anyone remember what an ADULT Hillary Clinton did? Holding a seance (sp?) to try to channel Eleanor Roosevelt? Doesn’t quite matter now what a 17 yr old girl messed with for a week and didn’t like matter now….

Thanks for the info. It sounds quite disgusting and inappropriate. No time to check the references now, but I appreciate the leads. My initial reaction is that “dabbled with witchcraft” at that age is the equivilant of Clinton “smoking, but not inhaling” at the same age. Similar response to “family values” with Mr Clinton’s much publicized history, but that does not make it right, then or now. I cannot condone the hipocricy. I also cannot condemn the sinner. (But I sure as hell can vote against them!)

Yeah that’s tright, Clinton cheated on his wife.

So when are the Repubs going to give him a standing ovation same as they did for David Vitter and John Ensign when THEY got caught fooling around?

Oh and pianoguy….if you’re gonna bring that up, then you must also be mad at Nancy Reagan for consulting that astrologer when SHE was First Lady
