Since it looks like he might have a lot of time on his hands, so maybe he can go looking for information on the GOP’s plans to create more jobs – I haven’t been able to find anything.
Many plans but you ignore them. Tell small business there will be fewer regulations, lesser taxes, smaller nuisance fees, fewer forms to fill out, a tax benefit for every new employee hired. Tell workers if you earn money we will take less of it in taxes. Cut Federal income by 50% and let the states take that money dollar for dollar and spend it where it is needed locally.
That is just the beginning. But tomorrow you will once again write there are no ideas.
LIB - So when did the GOP put these ideas forward – was it in press conference, in one of their political ads, after a economic conference, in a policy statement, or are they just ideas that they kicked around?
You do understand that most of the things that you are complaing about: small business regulations, taxes, nuisance fees, forms to fill out, no tax benefit for every new employee hired (which is nice idea) were all in place during the 8 years the GOP was in power, and they did nothing about it then – they also did nothing when small business started to fail in 2006 - 2008 when the effects of this recession started to take place.
And why do you have so much faith in States using the money from a tax cut wisely? Haven’t you been watching what States (GOP or DEM) do with extra money when they find it?
Again please tell when the GOP put these ideas forward.

ANandy informs: Perhaps the blockhead can understand just one proposal: Free-up jobs held by alien trespassers. Enforce the law.
Next to come will be the excuse that “those jobs” are not what they want to do; those are hard work; unemployment pays more; yadda, yadda, yadda.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Those who are not tough, tough.
“Free-up jobs held by alien trespassers. Enforce the law. ”
Not necessarily bad, per se, but the focus kinda shifted to “make shows of strength at the border” instead of “investigate businesses employing illegal immigrants” some time ago.
“Those who are not tough, tough. ”
Some may find a job. Some may find other means of subsistence, quite possibly illegal. You don’t expect them to lay down and die, I guess? Or you think that all the criminals among illegal immigrants (however many they are) are in it just for the kicks?
Thank you for the compliment that I am so brilliant i came up with those ideas all by myself. Every day I try to do something most advocates avoid at all costs. i read party lines by both sides (really more than one).
I read the left- NYT, Slate, HuffPo, AP, Salon, CJR, etc
I read the right - WSJ, Fox,
I read Libertarian- Reason, Cato, Volokh etc
I strongly urge reading Volokh. Readership is 30-40-30 (liberal, libertarian, conservative) With the best ideas from each posted.
On one of those sources the ideas I parroted were posted.
TIGGER - It is agreed that Obama’s and DEMS plans have created jobs, the complaint has been that they have created enough of them or quickly enough.Even Fox News doesn’t say jobs aren’t being created, they are saying too much money is being spent created those jobs.
Also, once again, what are the GOP plans to create jobs and fix the economy?
