Jan Eliot lived not all THAT far from me during her career. I’m pretty sure that she agreed with me that the BEST kind of snow is the kind that stays just long enough for a few rides down the hill and then shovels itself (by melting and running off).
State I live in the western and northwestern had enough snow to do what Alix does sledding, where I live at no snow, or if we did get snow not much maybe 1" and then it melted.

Only other time that I’ve seen Alix move that fast is when it is summer and she can put her ‘splash’ pool up and fill it ! ! ! !

When it’s cold, it’s easy to warm up. Just put on a sweater or jacket. Throw an extra blanket on the bed. Or move around like Alix is doing.
I will take January and February over the miserable heat of July and August anytime.

I wish. DC area (and much of the mid-atlantic) hasn’t had a single snowflake all season.

Funny the difference in the way children see snow vs adults.

Why can’t we invent snow that doesn’t land in the driveway?
