The only dress code my employer has is ‘no sandals’ and that’s only for employees who need to be out in the warehouse on a regular or semi-regular basis. I have an awesome employer. :)

I sounded like that once…… My shoe sole came loose and flopped every time I took a step. VERY annoying and also a wee bit embarrassing.
Flip-flops are meant to be worn at the beach or pool, not in the office or in restaurants. They’re hideous. They’re also a tripping hazard and any podiatrist will tell you they are not good for your feet.
Not much for a whole week!
The former employer for Government has rules against those shoes or opened toe. Val you can hear the shoes each step.
In some parts of the world they’re called “pata-patas” for the sound they make.
