This is what I have to do with Twitter on occasion.

I cut the cord years ago. No TV. The internet is bad enough

Diagnosis: couchpotatoitis. Perception: a few days’ without TV.

I would love a few days without CNN. They ain’t what they used to be – thirty years ago.

Following the news is hard enough. Since Fridays are not dead news says anymore. Breaking news happening after 8 pm CST.

It’s not the “news”, it’s the channel. Who could watch that filled drivel fest? PMSNBC is just as bad. MR just reported that the “mainstreammedia” had something good like 98% bad coverage for the Trump administration. Just pathetic, and libs are just eating it up. Hook, line, and sinker

I gave up on CNN back in the 2000s. I can’t abide news media lying to me.

Right now I have the local news channel on. Not watching it—just have it on for background noise. If I hear something that I think I need to know about, I’ll go into the other room to check it out.

No TV since Jan. 2001. Only New Years resolution I’ve ever kept. Haven’t missed it in the least.

I can do very nicely without TV. I can thank Charlie, Jean, Francis and Irma for the reminders.

As a cord cutter we don’t have live tv news and that’s good. I prefer to seek out news online and read what I want, when I want. I got tired of all the doom and gloom of regular news, especially local news. It’ll make you afraid to even leave your house!

I used to love CNN when it started in the eighties along with its spin-off CNN Headline News back when Ted Turner was calling the shots, not Time Warner! Nowadays CNN is more back and forth talk than it is news reports and actualities, and I don’t know what Headline News is anymore! Time Warner really messed things up!

We do not watch CNN, I need more variety. Hallmark is great to watch, we do watch comedy and crime shows. Then I also have my books for escape and vacation time.

CNN is terrific – it’s up for an Emmy in scripted fiction!

That is what happens when you absorb the constant hate and lies coming from cnn.

I just have an antenna. Local news and weather. No cable anything.
