Not fond of pumpkin pie, but I’ve made them, on request…and I’d not use a pumpkin that’s been cut into, scraped inside, and sitting outdoors for several days… ick.From the first day, they start to shrivel and get soft, sometimes even to get moldy,,,and the edible surfaces have been exposed to dirt, bugs and maybe candle smoke,They’re on sale now. Just buy a fresh one to cook!
