Too bad I don’t have an uncle as a neighbor. It would’ve been so cool to do things with him. I don’t even have next-door a nephew/niece; they’re approximately the next town over.

I hope Jan keeps Sunday only strips family more interesting with whole family. And so it starts with Sunday from now on. Should be fun.

I just went back to yesterday and happy GC has consented to work with Jan Eliot will also be fun to comment on old comic strips. A lot of the strips I have not seen did not start SS in 2009. Going back to when started give us better insight just hope stay in same format.

Albino Crayfish are also geese? Who knew? And why is Alex not on a plane to Tennessee? Plus, she might want to hit up one of her fellow GC characters for a time machine…

Well so far no old strip. Wonder if GC not rerunning old strips.

Let’s see if I got this right: You are now publishing “classic” strips from the beginning and discontinuing current strips.

I will miss the comicstrip what are they thinking of canceling it

I just read that the creator of Stone Soup has retired and this is the end of Stone Soup. One of my favorite strips.

Where is Stone Soup? It wasn’t in yesterday’s Free Press comic section or today’s (October 20 & October 21) ? I’d really like to have it back in circulation.

Jan, thanks for the years of enjoyment. Will miss you! Enjoy your retirement and will watch for your Sunday strip.

Our paper didn’t mention a word about it. Suddenly it was just gone, and there was “Speed Bump”. At first I was super angry, then settled right down when I found out that it was Jan’s idea.Enjoy your new freedom Jan. We’re all only here for a visit ya know!
