Some of our South African beaches have grassy areas that one can put deck chairs and beach umbrellas on. In the Cape there is always a view of the beautiful mountains and on the Atlantic side of the Cape Peninsula the water is icy cold even in midsummer. There is usually a delightful breeze blowing in off the ocean. We are really spoilt for choice for beautiful beaches; Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban have a huge variety to offer. Different climates, different views in each case, come and visit us and see for yourself. :)
