Holly… just a step behind the conversation. As usual when Mom and Alix are talking because Holly doesn’t listen to them…

Well done, Gramma. You’re still young at heart; keep your family guessing about Arnold too!

Remember, as you get older, your kids decide more and more what happens to you.

If Betty White can still get on stage and dance, then Gramma can still travel around. Bless her. <3

Homer Simpson: (on being at the old folks home) It’s like being a baby, except you’re old enough to appreciate it!

My family know I’d rather be dead than in a home; they will never force me out of my house

@dazz; i am fascinated by your avatar – it’s a little like mine, but close up. am i correct that it also shows two fluffy white chicks, very extremely young, and an unhatched egg?

What kinds of birds are they? i know that many kinds of baby birds look the same to begin with – just balls of white fur. in my photo they are peregrine falcons in a nest in alberta, canada.

which reminds me, i want to look up some webcams – haven’t done it for a few days. on the one hand it’s kind of early for the season, but on the other hand not all birds go by the amount of light in the day – some go by the temperature or other factors.

Maybe nobody else cares, but I’m sure Alix would understand! And I think maybe her Gramma would – she seems to be interested in everything!
