Holly: 10 PM?! Why does my curfew have to be so EARLY?
Val: Well, when's the last bus??
Holly: B -
Holly: I have to date...on the BUS??
Val: Unless a parent drives you...which seems more romantic?
Charlie- I agree. I was married long before I had the use of a car and I made multiple trips to a nearby grocery store to bring home my purchases for the week. The small neighborhood store owners understood and kept it safe etc during my trips (and I had big double baskets on both sides). I still remember bringing home a turkey (gift from employer) over snowy rutted roads- but I had made myself a hooded coat with heavy lining, good padding for the falls.
