He’s 60 and looks 50? That contradicts future strips. In one future strip, she asks him how old he is (indicating she doesn’t know) and he whispers in her ear - she responds with “Hot diggity.” That would not be the case if he was older than he looked. Also, in another future strip, it’s revealed that he’s only a few years older than Val. Val is nowhere near 60.
