Joan: What are we doing for dinner? Val: I don't know....it's weird with mom away. Joan: But just think! We can have the Thanksgiving the way we want! No jello-mold cranberry thing....no marshmallow-topped smooshy yam thing...none of the really strange stuff mom insists is "tradition"! Val: True! Everyone: We like tradition!!
