Instant gratification is a large part of what has negatively affected this country, and the world what with social media (all types) and the ‘failure’ felt if no one likes or responds to a posting. A sad commentary, but true.

I remember OH and I did an experiment, we bought two microwave dishes and had those the first night and made a note of taste, calories and timings. The second night OH made the same dish and we noted the same three things, it took less time, tasted better and had fewer calories even though we used butter and full fat cream!
