Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Joan: What're you having for breakfast? Val: Toast with peanut butter, honey and banana. Joan: Hand me the front page. You know, peanut butter's not good for you. It's FULL of fat. Joan: Sooo...what's passing for news today? Val: * Joan: It says here that 20% of adults in the U.S. suffer from depression! Val: * Joan: And 25% of THOSE are on anti-depressants. Joan: Huh. Joan: Why do you suppose that is? Val: Because people keep telling them they can't eat peanut butter!!
I guess the question is, why only 25% of depressed people are on antidepressants.
