    At that age they mainly do it for the reaction and consequent attention. Starve the behavior by ignoring it; if it gets serious, nonchalantly say “I think it’s time for someone’s nap” every time you hear it.

    Just another example of why, yes why, you have to watch what you say in front of young children. They are ‘exploring’ and will pick up-what you don’t want them to F! ! ! !

    Grandma you should gave a more positive word.I remember walking with my daughter with dogs, a mom was outside with her son, the words she was using makes Max’s words really mild, in front of her son.
