The boy needs to earn his keep somehow.
You’re not done until you’ve finished or you’re finished when you’re done.
The biggest problem with shoveling that much snow is finding a place to throw it. You try throwing a shovel-full of heavy, wet stuff five feet in the air again and again.
You use the tools you have.
Merry Christmas. Wally is smartYesterday strip I commented on a floor furnace. You may need to google what a floor furnace is. Back when homes built 40’s and 50’s the furnace, depends on families, mostly built or placed in the hallway which is bad for children to walk over. That floor furnace is placed under the floor with a grate on top, provided there is one level of house and crawl space. Ran by gas to heat up homes. People got careless and laid material over which will cause fires of a home, above the grate that furnace needs to stay uncovered. When our electricity went out that furnace would go autopilot we have heat.
I do all the shoveling for now, my wife has a bad back and my granddaughter isn’t even 13 yet
That was a GREAT strip!
