Some of theses Lil gals are becoming tweens “Teen People & Tiger Beat” readers… I really don’t know if the latter still exist nowadays….. :^)

I’ve never been one of the typical popular girls. I was more into building forts and playing with matchbox cars. Never got crazy about horses or teen magazines but fell in love with Middle Earth.

I liked Elwin. Wish he’d stuck around more long-term. Thought Alix and Holly needed some outside friends.

Fourth grade was a difficult year socially for both of my girls. I don’t think the girls in their school were into makeup and boys yet, but the cliques got bad. I suppose it’s the age that kids start turning into tweens and trying new social approaches….without any skill whatsoever.
