Apparently, she should have used a gun. Then it would have been all right.

On Memorial Day weekend? Really? That’s the “equivalency” you’re arguing? Should she have done what she did? Nope (see how easy that is right wingers?). Is it the same as brave men and women reporters going into war zones so the outside world can have some sense of what is occurring? Apparently according to the cartoonist it is.

Who’s Shellyne Rodriguez?

Just to be clear, and I am NOT saying that this is what he is claiming, but SKelley himself has NOT done any of those things the journalist claims in the toon.

Any legitimate journalist who actually HAS done those things would have no problem interviewing Rodriguez. They know how to approach an interview respectfully and get the job done.

Rodriguez was wrong, yes, without a doubt and will be punished by the courts. She’s already lost her job as a result.

But so were the “New York Post” journalists who ambushed her in her own home. The journalists not only became part of the story, they triggered the story. This isn’t journalism. It’s propaganda. The public should punish them as well. They are NOT the heroes SKelley is making them to be.

I feel uninformed again. Who is Shellyne Rodriguez?

What I couldn’t believe was: Why didn’t the guy with the machete at his throat grab her arm, then punch her in the face? Maybe she has never suffered any consequences from her behavior! [Of course, if it was a ‘Soros DA’ area, the guy defending himself would be the one charged, not her!]

And she was a “professor” at some university!?

Why BC it is true!!

What does Shellyne Rodriguez teach that she carries a machete in the classroom?

It took some time to find out what the heck Mr. Kelly was talking about. I don’t see how this even rates a Kelly cartoon.

Now, that’s funny!

I think this former adjunct assistant prof should learn two things: 1) sometimes the politics and causes of others are different from your own; and it’s OK; they don’t have to be aggressively battled; especially not for things like pamphlets on a table, that people can take or leave, and 2) learn about “concealed carry”, the carrying of a weapon for protection, but it’s CONCEALED. You are armed and ready, but you don’t have to bring your weapon out in display and confront strangers at the door with it.

Shellyne Rodriguez was simply exercising her open carry rights protected by the Second Amendment. Where’s Greg Abbott when you need him?

Bragg ran on a Stalinesque program. Promised to prosecute Trump. No matter what, he’d find a crime.
