My, Mr. Kelly engages in some fanciful distraction. What did he have to say about T-p’s deliberate taking of documents and lying about returning them by claiming they were his?

Good idea, the annual rent on the safe deposit box is more than the total value of your assets.

Trump got in trouble because he refused to turn the documents over. If he had done that, there would have been no problem

Steve, you are a RW cartoonist. Your valuables are a signed red baseball cap and emails saying you haven’t given enough money to keep a grifter out of prison.

This is all so great! Caught! Democrat baldfaced hypocrisy is on display for all to see. The Trump haters, tame media, and fact checkers are hysterical. And, who was the genius who teed up this mess? I hope he/she gets promoted.

I’m all for Trump AND Biden being barred from ever running for public office again, a full accounting of what classified documents are missing, the level of classifications, and in Trump’s case, what could they be sold for.

Trump is not in trouble for having Classified documents at his house. He is trouble because he refused to return them, lied about what he had and obstructed their recovery. MagaHats are too dense to realize that difference.

Actually, not a bad idea – if a bad guy peeks in and sees a lowly Vega he’ll know you are no-count and wouldn’t have anything valuable to steal…

It was a boneheaded thing to do. Let’s be clear on something: Biden is COOPERATING w/ the investigation & is NOT claiming the docs belong to him.

Sun reverses a Democratic trope. Except that trope’s only true of Republicans.

Might be safer if they just lock the docs in the glove box… no one will bother that!

If a regular citizen goes to jail for this type of infraction (intent is not a defense) and “nobody is above the law” applies then Joe needs to be punished, if not jail then a large fine. He should encourage this to prove “nobody is above the law”.

It should also be noted that a president can declassify documents. A vice president cannot. ALSO Biden had those documents under the potential control of the Chinese. Trump is not fool OR a pawn of the Chinese.
