Putin is not “crushing legitimate political dissent”, he’s having them all killed off by other means.

What “legitimate” political dissent is Kelley talking about?

    The big lie?

Like all Trump Disciples, SKelley believes that a violent attempt to overthrow the government of the United States is ‘legitimate dissent’.

Because It’s OKAY If A Republican* Does It.

Did Kelley just misspell “legitimate” or is he showing how classy he is by mocking Biden’s speech impediment?

I didn’t know “big tech” was part of the government, SKelley, and does that include Liz Cheney and all the other Republicans silenced by your party because they wouldn’t support the Big Lie?

I find it interesting that Republicans believe supporting Russia over America is somehow patriotic? Makes no sense, and they are welcome to leave the USA and move to Russia anytime they want.

Oh, were the people at the January 6th insurrection treated too harshly? True, they were only storming the Capitol and not peacefully assembling in Lafayette Park.

Let’s see, it is fine for a business to deny service to anyone you don’t like (e.g., no cakes for the gays, and most recently no baby adoptions for the gays in Philly if you are CRS, no benefits if it offends your religion), but God forbid a politician that incites riots leading to deaths, should be denied access to the platforms used to launch this foment! Love the logic here.

1 of the 2 political parties in the U.S. supported and continues to support the violent overthrow of a democratically elected president and it ain’t the one holding the presidency/House/Senate. Not sure which medication you recently started, Steve Kelley, but you better talk to your doctor about the way it’s muddling your brain’s functions.

SKelley had better hope and pray that we never crush political dissent.

I’ve been to Russia and read their newspapers. SKelley would be drawing poorly done labels on soup cans if we crushed political dissent, as he claims.

Putin said in his press conference that he was taking actions because he didn’t want things like the Capitol riots happening in Russia. I would think the libs would be completely behind that.

Why is it that you guys won’t try to understand what the 1st Amendment actually says. It says that GOVERNMENT can not dictate your speech, who you associate with and the practice of your religion.

A BUSINESS is not a government and has the right to set the rules of conduct and use of it’s services. One can refuse to use the businesses services if it doesn’t agree with those rules.

If conservatives are find themselves shut out of those businesses they are free to start their own or, I know this is a hard one, reconsider their behavior and what they have to say.

‘Talking points he was given by Putin’: Ron Johnson slammed for suggesting Biden is compromised by Russia

Johnson’s “drumbeat of distortions, false theories and lies reminds some Wisconsin Republicans of a figure from the state’s past who also rarely let facts get in the way of his agenda: Senator Joseph McCarthy,” the Times charged.

Many are furious, saying that the Trump-defending Johnson appears to have ties to Russia himself, just like the former president he has so passionately protected at all costs and by all means.

Remember July 4, 2018 when Johnson and several other republican traitors went to Moscow?

Big difference between the Russian and U.S. approaches: the Russians crush dissenters (people and companies) via government “outreach”, while the U.S. government generally has a hands-off policy about private and even government citizens who dissent. Thought Republicans preferred the government to keep its hands off… must not count when they want to force their agenda on the population…

Legitimate political dissent does not include disseminating lies and ignoring facts. It should include opinions, and be identified as such.
