^At least he wasn’t a chickenhawk with five deferments in Wyoming, or a deserter from the Texas National Guard.
He also didin’t ignore intelligence reports and go blank and unable to respond when the resulting disaster hit New York and Washington.
These folks ARE “on duty” 24/7 wherever they are with today’s communications, so the ’toon, as usual for Kelly and all the right wingers, is more idiot garbage.
As little as I think about Kerry…
What’s the big deal? So he went boating. Was he keeping up to date on the situation while he was there? Was he working while he was on the yacht? Let me know the answers to those questions and I’ll know whether to be upset.
As far as the State department statements, just another knee-jerk-deny-everything response typical of officials today. Both sides of the aisle do it.
If you’re going to bash Kerry, do it for his job performance. Not because he did what any of us would do on a holiday.
^Yes, and considering his wife entered the hospital today, maybe the “lame stream right wing media” had it wrong in the first place regarding what he was up to in his personal life?
I remember a small town hall meeting Kerry had when campaigning. Intelligent people actually asked intelligent questions, and he responded with a wide range of knowledge, and showed even his “detractors” courtesy. He was also warm and open, too bad he wasn’t as “human” in more of his campaign appearances, instead of being so “wooden”.
