Sure, this is a ridiculous situation. But is a company that makes billions off the backs of a poorly paid workforce on the strength of the way they “classify” their workers any less ridiculous? And so far as I know, there have been no actual cases of the above lemonade stand situation. Can’t say the same for Uber and the like.
