    To think that proper regulation could have prevented this whole mess.

    Not that I’d ever advocate this myself, but I kinda got a bang out of the counter-cultural sentiment “prosecutors will be violated”.

    The Repuke Party obviously believes that women would willingly nurse their unwanted babies.

    Think again!!

    The cartoon is waaaaaaay too dark. The color version should have gone up instead.

    Until it’s recoded and resent by the syndicate, there’s not much I can do about it, especially since it’s the weekend.

    As somebody else said, the GOP is concerned about protecting the unborn babies, but time that baby is born, the GOP doesn’t care about them.

    “The cartoon is waaaaaaay too dark” in more ways than one. No one in the Biden Administration is taking any glee in the formula SNAFU.

    I remember a TV ad a few years ago, an organization called “Heifers for Humanity”, asking for $$ in order to ship lambs and goat kids to “developing” nations to provide milk for starving children.

    Even then, I knew that those poor animals would be slaughtered for meat just as soon as they were off the boat!!

    I suppose others realized that too, and sent protests to the SPCA, PETA, and other animal rights’ groups, because that ad has been off the air for years—thank God!!

    Has anyone else noticed that one of our most persistent and obnoxious trolls keeps changing its screen name? Probably because it keeps getting banned under the previous one.

    President Joe Biden claimed on May 13 that his administration could have been better prepared for the national baby formula shortage if they had been better “mind-readers.” A top Biden administration official revealed that they have known about the coming baby formula shortage dating all the way back to last year – contradicting claims made by Biden that they had no idea. Biden is a failure.

    @AtomicForce91 -

    In a reply posted to @Concretionist above, I made the following point about Republican’t complicity in the current situation.

    “It’s because the House Republican’ts largely voted against bringing in baby formula from Europe. From “The Hill” May 19:

    “Earlier on Wednesday (May 18), Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) sent a memo to all House GOP offices recommending that members vote against the legislation (that would grant the Food and Drug Administration $28 million in emergency funding to respond to the scarcity of baby formula). He argued that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) brought up the bill “in hopes of covering up the administration’s ineptitude by throwing additional money at the FDA with no plan to actually fix the problem, all while failing to hold the FDA accountable.” Twelve Republicans bucked House GOP leadership and voted for the legislation: Reps. Don Bacon (Neb.), Brian Fitzpatrick (Pa.), Anthony Gonzalez (Ohio), Trey Hollingsworth (Ind.), John Katko (N.Y.), Adam Kinzinger (Ill.), David McKinley (W.Va.), Tom Rice (S.C.), Chris Smith (N.J.), Mike Turner (Ohio), Fred Upton (Mich.) and Ann Wagner (Mo.)”"

    I trust Snopes over the N.Y. Daily News. It was a quick and handy check of what you’d alleged. Disprove, if you can, any of what Snopes said concerning the baby formula situation – and use reputable sources, not the N.Y. Daily News or Fox News (for instance, how about Associated Press, Reuters, BBC, or AFP.

    Steve, I was hoping that today’s (Wed.) offering would be about our national gun problem. About how mentally ill people of all ages are tearing apart America.

    Is it a syndicate thing?
