Her mental focus is ‘on the fritz’, she should not compete; else she could be seriously injured. She’s a champion competitor and I applaud her making the difficult choice to protect herself.

I’m just glad that the nortorious gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi has long since retired. He wouldn’t have let her back off and had that happened, it’s not hard to imagine disaster.
