I believe it was Nietzsche who remarked that the last true Christian had died on the cross. Today’s evangelicals scarcely follow any of the words of Jesus and are themselves (many of them) the money changers in the temple. The New Testament wisely and often calls those who profess one faith but do not follow it, “Hypocrites”. What a wonderful world this would be if modern Christians would actually follow the injunction to love one another. We are all brothers and sisters, not one of us better than another as humans. I hope someone, some god, some Presence, some power helps us. We surely need it!!!
