…..And in the meantime, females work for less than their male counterparts, are bypassed for promotion, and sexually harassed on the job!

The GOP tried to filibuster the Lilly Ledbetter act. The GOP is trying to shut down not just abortion clinics (back alleys, anyone?) but women’s health clinics and even contraception nationwide, especially at the state level. Your pretend outrage at the (very accurate) cartoon is fooling no one. Until the GOP war on women is ended with ACTUAL POLICY CHANGES, the voting gap will continue to grow. Who exactly is the GOP trying to appeal to with this?

A lot of women (and men) did vote for who they chose, but once in office, Republicans changed their focus from jobs to voter suppression and shackling women’s rights.

“Abortion rights? You mean the right to murder unborn children or those who are alive and their spinal cords cut with scissors?”

You are not describing abortion, and you know it.

Your statement is as meaningful as me saying that Republicans love the Boston bombers because they hate Obama.

I recommend that you stick to the facts if you wish to have anyone seriously consider your point of view.

“Abortion rights? You mean the right to murder unborn children or those who are alive and their spinal cords cut with scissors? Those rights?”Two examples of why intelligent people accept the need for abortion. A couple was ecstatic to discover that they were gong to have twins – until the next sonogram showed the fetus’ were anacephlic – no brain above the brain stem. Would you be willing to force a carry a fetus to full term under those conditions?

A mother of three became pregnant again. She had primary Pulmonary Hypertension. The doctors said the additional stress on her lungs would kill her before the fetus would be viable. Would you be willing to kill the mother just to make a point?

For every poor ‘fashion choice’ there are hundreds of women doing a good job and they deserve fair treatment…You apparenlty have retreated to fantasy life populated by reality TV stereotypes…

“That’s how Gosnell described it. I didn’t see much in the way of the Leftist media outrage over this.”

I wouldn’t trust one word that comes out of that monster’s mouth.

I have enough trouble justifying what I do. I will not try to justify what the media does, left, right, or center. I have no control over that.

It does not make my point any less valid.

“BTW. when did it become a “right” to have your neighbor pay for your contraception?”

It’s not a right. Never has been. Where is it written that I have to pay additional insurance premiums to help pay for someone else’s fertility treatments? Are you suggesting that we go a la carte, that we should be able to pick and choose what benefits we want to pay for? And who gets to decide which one of us gets his/her wish? Good luck with that.

I don’t have any children of my own. Why should I have to pay taxes to support schools?

Can we find something more important to argue over?

The quality of SH awareness training can vary greatly. During SH awareness training at a previous job, the HR director posed the question “Is it sexual harassment if you call someone a bitch?” Her answer was “No, because maybe she really is a bitch.”

First the goverment should not have to pay for women being stupid. The dem o rats want you to be sluts so like clinton they have a place to store thier cigars. Do you women realize how may STD are out there (and yes you can get them giving a blow job) and one day there is going to be one that can not be cured because they built up a resistance to any medication. I am sorry I lean repulse a can. I think dating should be a time to find someone you like and want to spend you life with not someone just to have a quickie with or live with and dump them. And yes I think women should get a abortion when they are raped . But do not think it should be used a birth control that’s trojan’s job. Or have you tubes tied till your ready to have kids. I alway will wonder why killing a baby is ok but people like the boston bomber or ariel castro should be able to live.

The well off have always had access to safe abortions. The less well off got access through Roe v. Wade. Restrictions geared to make safe abortion less and less available creates the conditions for those like him.

I suppose the “Pro-Life” people won’t be happy until the world is safe for the coat hanger. heh heh (Yes, I’m being facetious and satirical.)

That’s right Zipi. These women who dress provocatively?? They have no excuse. If they are raped it was their own damn fault for showing a little too much leg.

How dare we expect rapists to control themselves?

I’m sorry but this is low – didn’t those women suffer enough? How dare anyone try to capitalize on their personal hell…try to find an original way to put your opinion over
