My, my, now this is one dishonest toon. Why, even Nancy didn’t have the gumption to make such a suggestion.

“I think some of our members may have thought the default issue was a hostage you might take a chance at shooting. Most of us didn’t think that. What we did learn is this — it’s a hostage that’s worth ransoming.”

Putting Che in referrence with any member of the human race, let alone the tea party? The mass murdering dictator supreme? Oh my! Mr Benson has lost touch with reality.

Let’s see now. Republicans wanted $16.5 million (that’s with an “M”, not “B”) cut from rural airport subsidies, and (oh by the way) legislation pushed by Delta Airlines to gut unions. Democrats said no, so Republicans defunded the FAA, furloughing 4,000 employees and idling 74,000 contract jobs. Lost revenuse cost $30 million a day. And you guys blame the Democrats? It’s ok for billions in other subsidies, but not $16.5 million for rural airports? Hypocrits.

Fidel Castro and the Che were to the Soviet Bloc what Pinochet and the Contras were to the US.
