Pass a modern immigration bill instead then.

I can see the “Dream Bill” but it needs more refining especially in the mind of the average citizen.

Yea, it needs a lot of retooling and refining. There are some good bits… but it’s just bits. The kibble, on the other hand, is rancid at times.

So, you think that it’s fair that the kids of Illegal immigrants should get a pass ahead (towards citizenship) of the kids of Legal immigrants? How about a real “Dream Act” that gives the all children of all immigrants a fast tract towards citizenship?

    Just asking………..

How about cherry-picking the best and brightest to become citizens, which is what the bill actually does? Is there a problem with that?

^ So true. As I said before, Marco Rubio has not been sworn in but he is against this bill? Some of these kids are the doctors of tomorrow.

Soo,, If a Cuban sneaks ashore, he becomes legal, but a kid brought here at 6 months and growing up in a normal American manner and graduating from college, serving in the army, etc. must be deported?

^ I served with two German citizens who were drafted. One was the son of a worker at the German embassy.

How do they get ahead, exactly?
