Crosby was born in 1891 — the Wright brothers’ sustained flight was 1903… so he lived through the early development of airplanes. Today no one remarks on being rocketed across the continent in 4 or 5 hours. Sorry, this is too obvious. But that’s the beauty of seeing this strip from the 1930s.
