I find it somewhat annoying that the process first pits the best possible candidates against each other, which too often includes at least some mud slinging… and then that muddied candidate must run against the actual opponent. On the other hand, if they would agree not to sling mud… (snrk, BWAHAHA). Snf. OK, so it is somewhat annoying. And though I prefer not to think of the GOP as the enemy, it does give aid and comfort…

In 2016 the ultimate mudslinger ‘won’ the election, so who knows?

Who cares? The media which needs a conflict narrative to fit its reporting and audience rating objectives. Everything has to be turned into a soap opera, so they can build an audience.

Bernie essentially called her a liar. She called him on it. Move on.

The resident seems to be enjoying the Democrats turn the 2020 election into a potential repeat of the 2016 election. The GOP had to do some work (e.g. disinformation about Benghazi) to make Clinton unpopular, now the Democratic candidates are doing it to themselves.

This squabble is so counterproductive! I’m afraid Warren and her camp are just too tight-knickered and would fail to see the wood for the trees on the world stage. Someone with real global know-how and clout is needed to get the present clown out.

Trump, Rudy and Pence tried to have the USA ambassador to the Ukraine assassinated, but lets pay attention to the spat between Bernie and Warren.

I think Bernie is a crazy, dangerous radical but I don’t think he’s dishonest or a liar. Lizzie on the other hand is known to stretch the truth or flat out lie on occasion. She’s also getting desperate after losing ground in the polls lately so she and her campaign are also motivated to pull some stunt, which is what happened imo. My verdict is Liarwatha is lying and Soviet Sanders is telling the truth.

When I heard this I wondered if it’s not an issue of the wording used. Could Sanders have said “a woman can’t win in 2020” (specifically vs. Trump)? To me, that’s different than “a woman can’t be elected president”. That implies a “forever”.

Verbiage does not really matter when: the infrastructure collapses, homelessness soars, medications too expensive, military used as mercenaries, protections are removed, the government is cash cow for Nunes’ leader, etc…

All bull! It’s the Dems election to lose and at this point it looks like they actually may. That last debate was a waste of electricity.
