No batteries needed if you fly them in an electrical storm.

Did you notice? The kite in the opening panel is a tribute to Charlie Brown.

It must be Charlie Brown tribute day.

Kites $19.99 ?!? They’re just sticks and tissue paper … and you have to put them together yourself! Why, in MY day …

You don’t need batteries, Skyler; they’re powered by fairy dust (after all, Wendy has to earn a living).

Oh what simple fun one can have with just some wooden sticks, paper/or light cloth, and some string. Plus a little exercise, (running). Who need fancy electronics on a dry and sunny day with a good breeze blowing.

Seems like ‘Cosmo’ has a FEW things to explain to ‘Skylar’ BESIDES the ‘Birds and Bees’ ! ! ! !

The real fun with kites was flying up with them behind a water-ski boat. Ah, the good-ol’-days.

yes, yes we did.

I love flying kites, but around here either there is either no wind or enough to fly a barn door.

Hopefully “modernity” won’t catch up with kites.

You need to go w/ stunt kites…. so much fun… was dive bombing my sister in law at Jekyll Island over Thanksgiving years ago. Had to hold on to my son when he was flying the kite. Wind was so strong was dragging him.

Why do they need batteries?
