That’s one of the oldest punchlines in the book, if not the oldest.

If you really want to know the Rock Hudson joke, a Google search will show it.

Or, what about being buried with one’s exposed buns showing, to be used as a bicycle rack?

Those of use of a certain age are crossword puzzlers because we, correctly, believe it helps to keep our wits sharp. I begin my day with my daily paper with news, comics then Sedoku , then the Cryptoquips, the Jumble, and finally the Crosswords. When I was young, at living at home, Dad was a Crossword fanatic and it became a race for the paper when I began to do them, also. He was kind enough to do them in pencil, I, on the other hand, cockily did them in ink ! I still, to this day, do all my puzzles in ink.For those of us who are retired or semi-retired, this really is a great method of staying sharp. I highly recommend it as being as much fun as commenting on these strips !
