Deficits are a Republican game. They run up massive deficits and then complain about deficits once a Democrat — representing the only party that has reduced an annual budget deficit from one year to the next in the last sixty year — takes office.

The entirety of the federal debt is the consequence of accumulated Republican fiscal mis-management, including massive deficits, first under Reagan and Bush Sr and then, following Clinton’s transformation of then-record deficits into record surpluses, Bush Jr came along and transformed the record Clinton surpluses back into new record deficits, with two unfunded wars, tax cuts and corporate welfare for the few richest elites and lack of oversight over financial and capital markets leading to an economic collapse. (Dick Cheney famously counseled Bush Jr that “Reagan proved that deficits don’t matter.”)

Then Obama came along and rescued us from the Bush economic free fall and could have done even more if he hadn’t faced unprecedented Republican obstruction and filibuster abuse as he tried to FIX what THEY BROKE. Despite this unprecedented obstruction, Obama has had amazing success in cutting back the size of government, reducing by 2/3 the record deficits he had inherited from Reagan/Bush/Bush with a record 84 consecutive months of job gains.

Utter bull. Just take a moment to look at the actual facts (not something that I guess is high on your list of favorite things). Then issue an apology.

Gee, Scott, when Republicans passed trillion dollar deficits in tax cuts and spending scams, you had little to say. When Biden addresses the decades of neglect in infrastructure (which gets more expensive as time goes by), and modernize the US to compete against the rest of the world, you squeeeeeeellll bloody murder.

It’s not a deficit, it’s investing in America’s future. Don’t worry, the corporations and billionaires will find a way to grab part of it through bids on the contracts. The difference is the American People get something in return.

As for the creepy part, where the hell were you during the Last Occupant’s administration???

He hung around with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Bragged on camera about sexual assault and grabbing women by their p@$$y.

Walked in on teenage girls in one of his beauty contests while they were dressing.

Wants to date and bed his own daughter.

Made rude sexual comments about his niece.

Cheated on each of his former wives with at least one woman that became the next wife, and on his latest wife, he screwed around with at least two porn stars while she was carrying his kid, paying them off to keep quiet.

And you call Biden creepy??? What’s wrong with you?

Scott, come on dude, you are BETTER than this! An attack on Biden? Making him look like he’s POISONING babies?

Is this who you really are? Is this what you really believe?

You need to get out of your studio and find a middle school classroom, anywhere in America. Urban, rural, it does not matter. Ask your local school board if you can tour a Title I school. Where more then 50% of the students are on free or reduced lunch. Where students receive food from the back pack program. They get SEVEN days of food in a back pack on Fridays because they won’t have food at home over the weekend. Come see how many kids are being raised by grandparents. How many are in single parent homes. With no one at home with them when the parent is at work.

Then look around at the classroom. Check out how OLD everything is. Yeah, they kids all have chromebooks. But they’re sitting at desks that have gum under them from before their PARENTS were students. These kids can often take the chromebooks home. But there is no internet, no wifi for them to connect to. So we have an ENTIRE family of students, trying to connect and do homework ON MOMS CELLPHONE! And Mom doesn’t have the minutes to spend on homework.

If there’s no internet, why don’t teachers assign paper homework? Because there are NO textbooks. We were given money to buy chromebooks, but not textbooks.

Scott, I’ve been teaching nearly 20 years. This is the first year EVER in history that I was asked, “Hey, what do you need for your classroom” AND I GOT IT.

Thanks to Joe Biden. Good for him.

And you know what? According to YOU, the kids getting that support will be the ones to pay for it. How does that OFFEND you, Scott?

But I don’t believe that lie. Those kids won’t have to pay for it. Because that’s not how it works.

The government is, right now, borrowing money at LOW rates and then lending it at HIGH rates. And (hopefully, please, God) that is how the infrastructure money will be paid back.

The super rich and big corporations got huge tax cuts that were supposed to come back as job and a booming economy. That never happened, so they owe us that money, now.

The reason why the Republicans don’t like the Biden budget isn’t because it might run up a deficit, it’s because it won’t. He has plans in place for taxing individuals to pay for it.

If Republicans truly cared about reducing the national debt, they wouldn’t oppose raising taxes – even on the rich (who can best afford them).

The alternative of letting the USA fall apart would be worse.

At least with Biden we get something back. Whereas, with Trump we got a whole lot of nothing from our taxes.

As a little corrective, what are the statistics for the wonderful amazing and miraculous effects on the economy, business investment, and earnings that resulted from the gigantic Trump tax cuts?

Actually, no effect at all. Not even a little blip, just a steady continuation of the upward trend that was well underway when Obama left office. Like a tree falling in the forest. Oh, wait: some exceedingly well-off people and big companies got richer. That’s’ something. Even if it’s nothing.

Trump’s most enduring legacy could be the historic rise in the national debtIt rose almost $7.8 trillion during his time in the White House — approaching World War II levels, relative to the size of the economy. This time around, it will be much harder to dig ourselves out. But don’t let the truth get in your way Scott.

So, why is it that when a Democrat is in office or appears to be destined for said office, the Republican crooks and liars have a sudden urge to go back to regular, repentant attendance at the Full Gospel Tabernacle of Fiscal Holiness?

It’s rhetorical, of course, because Republicans are (expletive) hypocrites… and here’s Stantis, feeding us a heaping helping of their propaganda swill.
